The 3rd INDOOR World Championship presented in Rovereto on Saturday, 30th November

Officially presented to the press on Saturday 30th November at 11h00, at the Urban Center in Rovereto, the third edition of the Indoor World Championship. Its first edition (2013) took place in the Alto Mantovano's Lands and, after the break in Catalan Land two years ago, the event returns this year in Italy - in Rovereto - on the weekend of December 8th.

The World Championship is organized by the Italian Federation of Tambourine Ball Game, with the help of FIBaT, the International Tambourine Federation, in collaboration with the Province of Trento, Coni, Municipality of Rovereto, Trentino Region and the Vallagarina Community.

At the Press Conference there are the FIPT Federal Vice-President Mr. Andrea Fiorini, the FIPT General Secretary Mr. Maurizio Pecora, the Councilor for sport of the Municipality of Rovereto Mr. Mauro Bortot, the President of the Coni Point of Trento Mrs. Paola Mora, the President of the sports agency of Vallagarina Community Mr. Ruggero Pozzer and the Vice-President of the FIPT Provincial Committee of Trento Mr. Sarre Ferrera.

Everyone underlined the importance of the event, both in terms of sporting factor and in the opportunity to give life to a territory like Trentino.

It will be the most important event of the year with the participation of eleven nations, confirming a movement in turmoil and growing even beyond Europe. The presence of Brazil and Cuba is significant, especially in the indoor specialty, which uses smaller spaces and is easier to learn.

Teams representing Europe, including Italy, are France, Catalonia, Spain, Germany, San Marino, Hungary, England and Portugal.

During the weekend in the host city, at the Fucine gym, the last phase of preparation of the Italian male and female team.

To defend  blue colors during the World Championship, for women, under the orders of the selector Gianni Dessì, the athletes Beatrice and Chiara Zeni (Nave San Rocco), Rebecca Lanzoni (Nave San Rocco), Germana Baldo (Nave San Rocco) , Veronica Trapletti (Nave San Rocco), Laura Lorenzoni (Mezzolombardo), Noemi Sogliani (Cavrianese) and Arianna Calliari (Mezzolombardo) called to defend the double world title won in 2013 at Castel Goffredo and then confirmed in 2017 in Catalonia.

For men's category, led by Salvatore Occhipinti, the athletes are: Luca and Manuel Festi (Castellaro), Alessandro and Federico Merighi (Castellaro), Gabriel Fiorini (Marco), Marco Ferrera (Marco), Graziano Perottoni (Marco) and Gabriele Weber (Castellaro).
